HID® Prelaminates
HID Global Prelaminate sheets or chipless inlays can be embedded in any RFID enabled card. Prelaminates may be customized to fit an existing scheme for single or multi-technology applications.
Prelaminates are ideal for manufacturers producing cards or tags for access management, public transportation, retail, loyalty, NFC and cashless payment applications. We can tune antennas and design custom size and thickness to enable optimized ISO card or non-ISO card form factors.
HID® Seal Tag™ RFID Tags
HID Global Seal Tag transponders are ideal for sealing commercial containers – bags, bins or boxes – to prevent unauthorized access to contents while in storage or during distribution. Seal Tag units integrate powerful RFID chips with high durability components, and secure, tamper-evident fasteners. Access to a sealed container’s contents requires severing a tag’s cable tie or wire loop – or breaching of the container itself – providing clear evidence of tampering.
RAIN® UHF Seal Tag closures can be identified from up to 26 ft (8 m), enabling entire loads of sealed containers to be read as trucks pass through stationary readers. HF Seal Tags can be identified and updated with handheld readers and ISO 15693 compatible NFC Type 5 (NFC-V) devices.
HID® Sense Asset+ Industrial
The HID active tag Sense Asset+ Industrial includes LoRaWAN connectivity protocol as well as Bluetooth® Low Energy and GPS capability. The device is a highly-efficient, battery powered IoT tracker. With the aid of the onboard accelerometer, the device detects when it starts to move and will transmit a LoRa message to the backend to indicate that it is no longer in its original position. Once the device comes to rest it will initiate the configurable positioning engine which can activate Bluetooth® Low Energy based positioning when indoors or activate its GNSS receiver when outdoors to acquire the new position of the device and will transmit this to the backend over LoRaWAN. The device also has a configurable heartbeat LoRa payload which can be sent periodically to inform end users of the battery life and state of the device.

HID® Sentry Cable Tag™ RFID Tags
Rental companies in the audiovisual industry, but also in construction or IT, face the challenge of optimizing logistics and generating a reliable inventory and workflow around the cables they handle every day. Identifying cables with printed bar or QR codes is inefficient, since every barcode needs to be scanned manually within line of sight.
The PCB-based HID Sentry Cable tag has a low profile — just 2.8 mm tall — and a very small footprint of 36 mm x 11 mm. Despite this small package, it provides a read range of up to 20 ft (6 m) when mounted on insulated metal. The Sentry Cable tag fits perfectly in HID’s line of tag holders, deployed by companies that use large, expensive cable assemblies. The optimized read range of this latest generation product provides reliable reads even when cables are piled together for transport.
